| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立新竹教育大學 === 中國語文學系語文教師碩士在職專班 === 104 === There are a lot of rhetoric,literature features, philosophical implications and musical materials in the lyrics written by Ching-Feng Wu,who is the lead singer of pop band Sodagreen.
His lyrics inject a clear stream into the creation of songwritting and have a important representative significance in Taiwan pop music absolutely.
The study is based on Wu’s lyrics as the research scope, adopting text analysis to generalize and probe the lyrics. It then divides Wu’s lyrics into three themes for the thematic studies that presents its rhetoric phenomenon and development through the analysis and the induction of the rhetoric format.
This thesis is divided into six chapters, the abstract of each section shows as below:
The first chapter is the introduction. It firstly describes the motivation and the purpose of this research. It then explains the range and the definitions, methods and studyprocedures, and the restriction of the research. Literature reviews are following presented in this chapter.
Chapter two is the development and change of mandopop in Taiwan after the war. It describes the development of mandopop in Taiwan after the war to rescinds martial law, rescinds martial law to the modern times, the 21st century until now, as well as the historical development and change of Taiwan pop band at the end of the chapter.
From chapter three to five, there are summaries of statistic of the rhetoric format, including Wu's emotion, inspirational life, realistic solicitude themes. It also gives the respective analysis of the themes at the end of each chapter. The conclusion is the last chapter to sum up the rhetoric phenomenon and development of Wu’s lyrics, which provides creation of the reference to the following lyricists and the supplementary materials in the language teaching class.
