There were 572 copies of the questionnaire distributed; 510 of them were retrieved, and 495 of them were valid questionnaire. After retrieving the questionnaires, the data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, independent-sample t test, one-way ANOVA, canonical correlation, and multiple regression analysis. All assumptions were investigated and verified. The results of the study were as follows: 1.The elementary school teachers in Hsinchu County have medium-high perception on principal's authenticnleadership and teachers’ well-being. 2.There is a significant difference among teachers of different sizes of schools toward principal's authentic leadership in Hsinchu County. 3.There is a significant difference among teachers of different types of jobs as well as the different sizes of schools toward teachers’ well-being in Hsinchu County. 4.There is a positive canonical correlation between principal's authentic leadership and teachers’ well-being at public elementary schools in Hsinchu County. 5.The “Internalized morality” in the dimensions of principal's authentic leadership has the most outstanding predicable effect on teachers’ well-being at public elementary schools in Hsinchu County. In conclusion, the results of the study provide specific suggestions to educational authority, elementary school principals, elementary school teachers and future studies for reference.
