This research employed the questionnaires of “The Personal Profile Scales,” “The Social Support Scales,” “The Hope Scales,” and “The Career Maturity Scales”. A total of 447 9th grade junior high school students in Hsinchu as effective samples. The t-test, two-way repeated measures ANOVA, and regression analysis were used for data analyses. The main findings of this study are: 1.Females perceived instrumental supports from family and peers, emotional supports from peers, and career belief more than males did; yet, males detected the trait of hope more than females did. 2.Junior high school students perceived greater emotional supports and instrumental supports from family, greater information supports from teacher, and greater emotional supports from peers. 3.Social supports from different important persons had different influences on Junior high school students’ hope and career maturity. 4.Hope has a significant effect on career maturity of junior high school students; meanwhile, there exists a mediation effect of hope on between social supports and career maturity. According to the results of this study, some suggestions were given for junior high school teachers and researchers to apply in the future. GAO,SHU-FANG 高淑芳 2016 學位論文 ; thesis 66 zh-TW
