This study aimed to investigate the research of integrating the inquiry-based mobile learning system into elementary school visual arts course for artistically talented sixth graders. The visual art courses combined with mobile Learning model, using the Inquiry-based Mobile Learning system to establish a platform of information integration, and used the WebQuest teaching strategy to help learners take the initiative to do problem solving in the visual arts curriculum in the creative process. This also trid to cultivate students' future IT application integration capabilities. In addition to analyzing students’ learning outcomes and learning experience in the use of mobile learning in the visual arts curriculum, this study tried to discuss problems and its possible solutions when adopting mobile learning in elementary school visual arts course for artistically talented class. This study had 25 participants from the artistically talented class at an elementary school in Hsinchu County. The main research method is Action Research. The findings of this study are listed as follows:
1. Student learning effectiveness, and abilities of sharing, exchanging and exploring are improved by using Inquiry-based Mobile Learning system.
2.The mobile learning method applied to the special subject of artistically talented class made students have more opportunitiee to observe, record and reflect.
3.The Inquiry-based Mobile Learning system can promote student’s learning motivation. Students also held positive feedback towards the teaching activities.
4.The application of Inquiry-based Mobile Learning system can enrich student learning performance.
5. The mobile learning model can promote multiple contents of the teaching activities.
6.The teacher realized that the reciprocal relationship between art education and information technology, and then improve teacher's motivation to innovative curriculum design.
Finally, according to the research findings and conclusions, this research proposes related recommendations for the further teaching and researches.
