Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立新竹教育大學 === 人力資源與數位學習科技研究所 === 104 === This study aims to explore the effect of utilizing HiTeach Platform to support 5E inquiry instruction on fifth graders’ learning achievement in and attitude toward the Aqueous Solution Unit in Natural Science course. The result showed that low-achievers' learning progress was much better. A quasi-experimental research method was adopted. Fifty-one students from two fifth-grade classes at an elementary school in HsinChu City participated in the study. A pre- and post-test design was used. An experimental group utilized Hiteach Platform to support 5E inquiry-based learning, whereas a control group used mobile devices for such learning. After the class was over, an attitude questionnaire of learning achievement and interviews about learning situation were administered on the experimental group. The findings are the following: 1. The instructional strategy could effectively promote learning achievement of the experimental group and the control group. 2. There was no significant difference in the learning achievement between the experimental group and the control group. 3. Utilizing Hiteach Platform to support 5E inquiry instructional strategy could significantly help students answer “memory”-typed questions about the concept of the change of three states of water. 4. Utilizing Hiteach Platform to support 5E inquiry instructional strategy could better help low achievers in the experimental group than those in the control group to "memorize", "analyze" and "apply" the concept of the change of three states of water. 5. The findings of the questionnaire and the interview show that utilizing Hiteach Platform to support 5E inquiry instructional strategy could increase the interaction between students and enhance their motivation and interest in learning Finally, based on the class observation and study findings, suggestions are proposed for future studies.
