Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 生命科學系 === 104 === In the Hualien hospital, the fungal infection rate was obtained from intensive units. Candida albicans isolation rate the highest, accounting for 51% of the proportion of candidiasis. The second of Candida glabrata is 19%. As for the Candida tropicalis, Candida parapsilosis, Candida krusei, they were ranked to be third, fourth, and fifth, respectively. Candida bacteremia patients need a systemic anti-fungal medication. In view of doctors’ empiric treatment in fungal infection patients, the effectiveness in therapy and the minimum in drug resistance cannot be ensured. This study aims to use A hand quantitative test method of yeast susceptibility testing third-generation (ATB FUNGUS 3) and bioMerieux automatic bacterial identification and susceptibility analysis system (VITEK 2), to explore the effectiveness of antibiotic treatment of the clinically isolated Candida. These techniques may help physicians an accurate direction to use medicine and avoid its resistance and ineffective treatments of bacterial infections. The results of the clinically isolated Candida spp. are almost susceptibility. However, drug resistance has been found against Candida tropicalis. As for the Candida krusei, resistance was not found, but an increase in the drugs amount in order to achieve a therapeutic effect has been observed. Therefore, in the treatment of these two species, the use of fungal drugs should be serious.
