碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 教育學系研究所 === 104 === Abstract The purpose of this thesis is to know the case study for new-resident parents join in school affairs , the experience and motivation of new-resident parents join in school affairs, the relevant factors effect participate in school affairs, and the difficulties. For above, the thesis takes an elementary school in Yunlin for example, select the new-resident parents who is from the school author works, and use purposive sampling to select five cases. Then use the way of qualitative research, such as interview, observe, analyze files to research , use triangulation to check and induce the result. Then according to the result of research, there are suggestions for educational organizations,schools ,teachers and the future research： A .Education organization can provide the opportunity for new residents to learn Chinese,establish counseling network, subsidize vulnerable households andstrengthen multicultural education for community. B. Schools can coordinate the relevent policy to organize event, provide the opportunities and ways to participate. C .Teachers can have multicultural accomplishment and use attitude of respect and acceptiance to face the values of different culture in class. D. The future research for the parents in this area about this problem, the motivation and difficulties participant in school affairs.If we can expand the area of research and adapt qualitative and quantitative researach, we can supply the better suggestions.
