Drawing from reference research, qualitative interviews, the study proposes a model of filial stress scale that delves into five various dimensions. Referring to Tang Pei-yu’s filial perception scale (2010), the study conducts a set of 33-question interviews with 722 junior high school students in Chiayi City and Chiayi County. Moreover, the interviews delve into five various dimensional stress, that is, self-management, stress from family teachings, stress of emotional comfort, stress from housework, stress from domestic communication. To show its reliability and validity, the study runs through the examination of SPSS and AMOS. The results shows that the proposed model establishes its reliability because the analysis of the Cronbach’s α sways from .854 to .937 in the five different sections, and scores up to .968 in the whole, split-half reliability sways from .884 to .940. What’s more, the model approaches its validity through analyzing its content validity, construct validity, and criterion-related validity. Although the study proposes to set a model of filial stress scale, the model has its regional, sexual, age inadequacy, and the faces challenges in interpreting individuals from different backgrounds.
