mind mapping in mathematics for junior high gifted students. Qualitative
research is applied in this study. Participants are nine junior high gifted
students in Kinmen County. A total of sixteen lessons is delivered to the
participants. During the curriculum, the investigator collecting the
relative data. After the curriculum, the investigator interviews with
students and analyzes the learning performance
Results of this study are as follows:
1. The achievement of conceptual understanding and procedural
execution is higher in the lesson of teaching mind mapping in
mathematics. The Creative ability is improved.
2. The gifted students’ feeling and feedback of the curriculum is positive.
3. In the future teachers will using mind mapping in teaching
mathematics and combining different thinking methods with mind
mapping.
