Summary: | 碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 輔導與諮商學系所 === 104 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the association between social anxiety, social skill and self-disclosure of junior high school students. Social skill would moderate the association between social anxiety and self-disclosure. Gender difference in social anxiety, social skill and self-disclosure were discussed in present study.
The sample consisted of 877 junior high school students. The instruments used in this study included“Chinese Social Iteraction Anxiety Scale”, “Social Skill Scale ”and “Offline Self-Disclosure Scale”. The empirical data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, and hierarchical regression analysis. The findings of this study were as follows:
1.Social anxiety of junior high school students is moderate to low. And gender differences are no significant on social anxiety.
2.Social skill of junior high school students is moderate. And gender differences are significant on socially sensitive of social skill that reveals female students are higher than male.
3.Self-disclosure of junior high school students is moderate. And gender differences are significant on self-disclosure that reveals female students are higher than male.
4.There were no significant correlations between social anxiety and self-disclosure, but there were significant correlations between social skill and self-disclosure.
5.Low socially sensitive of social skill had a moderating effect to social anxiety and self-disclosure.
According to the above findings, several comments and suggestions are offer to teachers and further researchers.
