They are suitable for base load power plant and they have already used supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) in the main generator and auxiliary machine systems. Therefore, using the collection, calculus, and logic control program of the operation information as the basis data for automated operations and management operations. However, the existed monitoring capability is still unable to provide fault diagnosis of fault operation detection for the main equipment of power plants. In this thesis, equipment for high voltage motor auxiliary systems of thermal power plants is established. It contains a high-voltage motor system condition monitoring and diagnostic systems. The content and analysis for the detection of the power of technology, including the motor voltage, current, phase angle, impedance, load, transfer torque, torque ripple, current spectrum and so on. After experiment, it can be found that, by this equipment, it can improve the reliability and efficiency of auxiliary systems operation. Besides, it can greatly reduce the chances of the occurrence of sudden failure when the unit is in operation. Moreover, it can reduce downtime when alternative energy costs loss, and thus to reduce electricity costs.
