We need to add some unique features which are recognized by the author into his or her own works for copyright protection, and the most common protecting technique on digital image is digital watermarking. This paper researches on three different color spaces for image watermark embedding process and extraction process, compares the quality of the extracted watermark of three different color spaces after varies image attacks. The experimental results show that the YCbCr color space not only has higher robustness compared with RGB color space and CIE XYZ color space, especially on complex images, but also has the acceptable image quality after watermark embedding process.
