Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 化學系 === 104 === The substitution studies of dimeric Fe-S complex, [Fe2(OSC6H4)4]-2, toward several phenolate and phenothiolate ligands (C6H5O-, C6H5S-, HOC6H4S- and -OC6H5S-SC6H5O-) were presented in this report. In alkaline conditions, four new five-coordinated Fe-S complexes were generated with the separation of two moieties of [Fe(OSC6H4)2]- from starting dimeric Fe-S complex. The synthesized complexes were characterized by ESI-Mass, EPR and X-ray diffraction analyses. In addition, the roles of cation, especially K+, in the successful production of these complexes were investigated. Interestingly, we found that a monomeric six-coordinated Fe-S complex, [Fe(OSC6H4)3]-3, can be generated in the solution containing only the starting dimeric Fe-S complex in alkaline conditions. This complex were characterized by ESI-Mass, EPR, UV-vis and X-ray diffraction analyses.
