The photoelectric sensor can only measure the arterial oxygen by measuring the amount of reflected light. However, it is not suitable for measure the real pulse wave what we care in eastern medicine. The reason is that the pulse is a kind of pressure wave and the photoelectric sensor is not really deigned for measuring pressure. The doctor puts some pressure on those six acupuncture points when measuring pulse. Then, according to the blood resonance theory diagnoses the disease of viscera and heart rate. So we use a pressure sensor instead of a common photoelectric sensor to measure the pulse wave. Another problem is that any kind of interference makes the result unreliable. So we will aim to design a hardware signal conditioning unit includes instrumentation amplifier, band-stop filter, low-pass and high-pass filters. Then, a microprocessor translates the pulse wave to spectrum data using fast Fourier transform. Finally, this system will send the result that is measured currently to a computer. The computer runs a program which can repaint the spectrum graph and store the result. This is good for doctors to do individual case research and tracing diseases. It also makes users have a habit to pay attention to their health. Lu, Chien-Yu 盧建余 2016 學位論文 ; thesis 69 en_US
