workplace safety cognition, attitude, and behavior in cooperative education program. A total of 325 questionnaires were distributed and 323 were retrieved with 306 valid questionnaires. The data were statistically analyzed by frequency distribution, percentage, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regressions. The major findings were as follows:
1. Industrial vocational high school students’ workplace safety cognition, attitude, and behavior in cooperative education program were above the intermediate level.
2. Industrial vocational high school students’ workplace safety cognition in cooperative education program was differentiated due to the changes in students’ grades and departments, the preventability of occupational injuries in off-campus internship workplaces, the satisfaction with safety management of off-campus internship workplaces, and different environmental risks within workplaces.
3. Industrial vocational high school students’ workplace safety attitude in cooperative education program was differentiated due to students’ departments, the preventability of occupational injuries in off-campus internship workplaces, and the satisfaction with safety management of off-campus internship workplaces.
4. Industrial vocational high school students’ workplace safety behavior in cooperative education program was differentiated due to the changes in students’ grades and departments, the preventability of occupational injuries in off-campus internship workplaces, the satisfaction with safety management of off-campus internship workplaces, and different environmental risks within workplaces.
5. Industrial vocational high school students’ workplace safety cognition, attitude, and behavior in cooperative education program were positively correlated.
6. Workplace safety attitude had a complete mediation effect on workplace safety cognition and behavior.
