Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中央大學 === 光機電工程研究所 === 104 === In this study, the molding simulation software (Moldex3D) is utilized to investigate the impacts of molding parameters on the warp of liquid silicone lens. Taguchi method is employed as a design of experiment, which can be used to discuss the influence of various parameters. And then confirms the importance of significant factors and its confidence level through analysis of variance (ANOVA).
Two types of orthogonal array (L8(27), L9(34)) are adopted in this research, the injection rate, temperature of heating rod, melt temperature, heating time, gate size, packing pressure, thermal conductivity and product thickness are served as the control factors. Notice that only parts of factors are included in experiments related to Taguchi method. The experiments in orthogonal array L8(27) are first conducted with wider range of parameter value to understand their influences on quality, which demonstrate the significant interactions between injection rate and melt temperature. Then, in order to find an optimal set of molding parameters, relatively narrower range of parameter values are adopted in the experiments of orthogonal array L9(34).
Through a series of simulation, the results reveal that packing pressure is the most important factor and followed the temperature of heating rod and melt temperature, the injection rate has the lowest impact. In ANOVA, the outputs of experiment always lie in the confident interval with 99% confident level.
