Summary:碩士 === 國立中央大學 === 中國文學系 === 104 === Dong Kai-Cheung, a well-known Chinese fiction writer born and living in Hong Kong who plays a significant role not merely in contributing influences but he has continued to bring paradigm shift to the Chinese literature in the society. He is especially has a sense in cultural critiques associate to his homeland. His many writings inspired by the city life have become so popular. This study draws upon primary sources of Dong’s work including novels and proses. The research focused on a complete collection of Dong’s trilogy novels, which are Tian Gong Kai Wu • Xu Xu Ru Zhen, Shi Jian Fan Shi • Ya Chi Zhi Guang and Wu Zhong Yuan Shi • Beibei’s Learning Era. This focus is to shows the connections of Dong’s narrative writing to dialogism relation between humanity and science in the society. The study methodologies are framed by Narratology further with Mikhail Bakhtin’s dialogism, polyphonic novel theory and heteroglossia theory. The dissertation is divided to five chapters. First chapter elaborated on the objective of the study, its previous studies and the research methodologies. The subsequent three chapters are the core contents, which included chronotope narrative, characters narrative and semiotics narrative. The final chapter is conclusion of the study.
