Problem awareness of this paper is the relation between the historical-social structure and distinct “rebellion” images in the field of “Indie music”, such as the opposition to the government, to the mass market, to the way of life of middle class or bourgeoisie, to the exploitation, and to Capitalism. The analysis mainly focuses on following aspects: production, including the history of social structure and the configuration of music, the argument of politics, commercialization or popularization, symbolic rebellion, and the formation of “Indie music”. Another aspect is consumption, including the opinions about different musical genres of audience, the opposition to different genres, the similarity between different audiences, and how the audiences consider the relation between “Indie music” and “rebellion” against Capitalism. Thorough the background, education, and working condition of producer and consumer, this paper tries to explore how the economic capital, cultural capital, and social experiences of musicians and audiences affect and limit different agents; furthermore, this paper clarifies the importance of social factor. 邱德亮 2016 學位論文 ; thesis 233 zh-TW |

The analysis mainly focuses on following aspects: production, including the history of social structure and the configuration of music, the argument of politics, commercialization or popularization, symbolic rebellion, and the formation of “Indie music”.
