Summary: | 碩士 === 國立暨南國際大學 === 應用化學系 === 104 === Organic light-emitting materials have attracted considerable interest for recent years. In particular, aggregation induced emission (AIE) materials have been focus of many recent studies, especially the effect of structural changes in organic light-emitting materials. In this study, we introduce the AIE mechanism in detail. And we designed and successfully synthesized a series of 3,5,6,8-tetraaryl-1,10-phenanthrolines, which contain different substituents. We investigated the fluorescence properties by measuring the absorption spectrum , emission spectrum and quantum yield. For 1,10-phenanthrolines bonded to weak electron-donating units, like biphenyl, 1-phenylnaphthalene, and bounded to electron-accepting units, like benzonitrile functional group, we used various ratios of dichloromethane-ethanol mixture solutions to carry out testing. We found that fluorescent intensity was enhanced when ethanol fractional was increased. It indicated that the aggregation induced emission character occurred. However when the parent molecule bonded to a strong electron-donating group like methoxybenzene, the ethanol fractional increased along with fluorescent intensity decrease and displayed the aggregation to cause quenching (ACQ) phenomenon.
