Summary:碩士 === 國立暨南國際大學 === 諮商心理與人力資源發展學系終身學習與人力資源發展研究所 === 104 === Since the turn of the 21st Century, many of the non-government Malaysian Chinese education administrators have gone back to school for advanced studies at graduate school. The purpose of the research is to study the reasons of the scenario, and find out what are the influences and changes on the Chinese education administrators themselves as well as on the development of the non-government Chinese education in Malaysia. The research employed the in-depth interview approach. Six non-government Malaysian Chinese education administrators were selected for interviewed based on their core role in the Chinese education movement. Along with the literature review of Malaysian Chinese education (including its history, nature of work and related organizations), analysis and discussion were done based on the gathered information. According to the research findings, conclusions were made respectively as follows: 1. The inheritance of Chinese education remains the main purpose of the movement of the non-government Malaysian Chinese education, but the educational professionalism must be developed as the foundation. 2. The enhance of one’s knowledge and skills is the reason of the recurrent advanced studies of the non-government Malaysian Chinese education administrators at graduate school in order for them to have a breakthrough in their careers. 3. The recurrent advanced studies of the non-government Malaysian Chinese education administrators at graduate school consists of three parts: 1) acquisition of knowledge in education, 2) training of soft skills, and 3) studies of the special topic in education. 4. The recurrent advanced studies of the non-government Malaysian Chinese education administrators at graduate school have resulted in the influences of individual mindset, and changes of the direction and action of the current movement. Based on the conclusions, the research has brought up some suggestions to the Malaysian Chinese education movement organizations, the independent Chinese high schools and the non-government Malaysia Chinese education administrators. Besides, recommendations have been made for future research.
