Female personnel managers not only have to face the work stress out of competitions in the workplace, but also confront with helplessness in taking care of their families simultaneously. Therefore, the aim of the paper is to explore the current situations of role stress and job satisfaction of female personnel managers, and the correlation between them. Based these research goals, the paper adopts qualitative research approaches of literature analysis and in-depth interview methods, and takes the female personnel managers of Kaohsiung City Government as the targets of case analysis. According to the analytic results of interviews, the paper compares the correlation between role stress and job satisfaction caused by personal backgrounds of different female personnel managers, so as to verify the related theories. Finally, the paper draws some conclusions and proposes some suggestions for personnel departments of competent authorities,female personnel managers and further researches.
