The C company in the case study (for brevity, the terminology “the company” will be used as below) is the world’s leading supplier of chemical mechanical planarization (CMP) slurries and a growing supplier of CMP pads in the semiconductor material industry, in facing the threat of competitors, the company is continuing to strengthen the competitive advantage and strategic development to maintain the company's competitive advantage. In this context, the competitive advantage and strategic development of the company is very worthy to be a reserch topic, with the results of this reserch, which can be a reference of strengthening competitive advantage and strategic development in enterprise.
In this reserch, which is followed the theoretical perspectives of relevant scholars, contents of secondary data and managers interview to conduct the case study in these strategic topics of the company’s competitive advantage, competitive strategy, business strategy, global growth strategy and initiatives, and managerial performance . The results of the research were as below:
1. Technical capability is as a critical ability, which enterprise can be developed in the industry.
2. Operational excellence, which allows enterprise to have best operating activities and enhance business performance.
