However, to be successful, entrepreneurs require plenty of background knowledge in order to resolve specific problems during the venturing process. With the development of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), they may support I&E like a startup accelerator. This study uses Community of Practice (CoP) to builds the model of I&E through knowledge map (K-Map) and knowledge management (KM) mechanism to assist entrepreneurs in practicing the I&E. Students participating in I&E MOOCs community were interviewed and the qualitative data was collected and analyzed to verify the effectiveness of MOOCs. Overall, the results show that though I&E MOOCs are quite primitive, entrepreneurs have positive tendency and regard MOOCs as useful resources.
