This paper is for the research on the spatial transformation of the constant auditorium in elementary schools. In this study, we distribute the educational development into three educational periods, and find the role and significance of this building type on the campus in each period by analyzing the campus planning and the educational activities of the preserved 21 auditoriums. Exploring the change and non-change of the auditorium space let us know the auditorium can be preserved because of its spatial properties. Besides, the spatial transformation of the auditorium can also be a view which reflects the development of education and social environment in Taiwan.
