Summary: | 碩士 === 國立勤益科技大學 === 資訊管理系 === 104 === Utilizing the advanced information technology to identify the intellectual structure of patents is quite important for the fast-emerging cloud computing industry; however, related literature is limited. In light of the existing three categories of cloud computing service models were partially overlapped, using the customary SPI model as a basis for patent analysis is obviously unable to grasp the development status of the cloud computing correctly. To this end, this study proposes a new method to divide the cloud computing patents into three overlapped categories. This study first proposes an ontology-based compound retrieval policy to retrieve three non-overlapped cloud patents. Next, by using the patents with the highest degree centralities as the initial central points for clustering, and utilizing Taguchi method combined with TOPSIS for integrating the clustering quality-related indices, the three overlapped clusters of cloud computing patents can be determined. Based on this database, we propose a group technology-based co-word analysis, incorporating with the visual method of network analysis and multivariate methods, to investigate the possible technological sub-clusters in each service mode of the cloud computing. The analyzed results for unveiling the development status of cloud computing and the co-competition relationship between companies, as well as the proposed method for constructing intellectual structure, can provide valuable references for cloud-related companies to make R&D management strategy.
