This research cultivated activated sludge in anoxic-oxic(AO) process by using synthetic wastewater. Through chemical coagulation jar test and activated sludge batch experiments to find a stable and preferred operating parameters. Through different external carbon source to enhance the nitrogen, phosphorus and organic carbon removal by using chemical precipitation combined with O / A / An / O activated sludge wastewater program. This study invent to investigate the effect of pH value for removing nitrogen and phosphorus with chemical coagulation jar test using lime and magnesium ammonium phosphate(MAP) method. The results show that the higher pH value leads to the higher removal efficiency of nitrogen and phosphorus. The phosphorus removal efficiency with lime was 100% when pH was 10.0. The nitrogen and phosphorus removal efficiency with MAP method was 19.6% and100% when the pH value is 10.5. Discussion microbial nitrogen removal of different pH and C / N ratio in batch experiments. HRT of aerobic nitrification process is 6 hr‚the ammonia nitrogen removal efficiency is more than 98% when pH value is 8.5 and 90% when C / N ≧ 5. Discussion microbes phosphorus uptake of different pH and C / P ratio in O/A/An/O batch experiments .HRT of phosphorus intake process is 1.5 hr, the phosphorus removal efficiency is more than 55% and 90% when pH values from 7.5 to 8.5 and C / P ratio from 9.5 to 21. According to batch experiments results‚further study the effects of different carbon sources(ethanol、acetic acid、 glucose、sucrose) on nitrogen and phosphorus removal with chemical precipitation combines O/A/An/O method.Operational experiment results indicated that different carbon sources have a significantly affect on phosphorus removal. The removal efficiency of PO43-、NH4+-N、COD with ethanol,acetic acid, glucose and sucrose as carbon source are 76.3%、83.6%、64.5%、69.9%;83.7%、87.9%、84.8、88.1%;92.2%、95.6%、95.5%、98.1%.The removal efficiency of different carbon sources‚phosphorus have a greater impact on nitrogen and carbon.
