Summary:碩士 === 國立勤益科技大學 === 工業工程與管理系 === 104 === The main purpose of this study was given by TRIZ theory to find the direction of innovation of new products, to reduce time and money spent on R & D process, and to improve product success rates in the market. The use of Delphi method to identify the key factors for improvement, and then use mind mapping, technical maps and QFD quality function analysis to identify quality characteristics. After that to take advantage of 39 engineering parameters and the principle of 40 innovations from contradictions matrix table as the direction of innovation improvement, and by use of patent search system to survey related patents of gardening shears to finalize the new design of products. Gardening shears are the tools that must be used to trim the branches, but the users have to take different kinds of shears due to the difference thickness of branches. This study is using QFD to decide the improved direction - mechanism of shears, and then using TRIZ innovation theory with 39 engineering parameters, the principle of 40 innovations decides the twelfth – Equipotentiality as the focus of the improvement. Consequently, following the point to make a new product design, do search patents and avoidance, and then apply for a patent, a new compound garden shears. The tool is made for improving the shortcomings of carrying too many items with heavy weight and higher costs, and switching different tools frequently.
