Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 精密工程學系所 === 104 === In this thesis, we successful used principle of total internal reflection with UNECE Regulation 113 to design a white-light LED as motorcycle low beam. A white light LED with a 2mm × 2mm chip is used as light source of headlamp. All the light can be reflected out by the law of total internal reflection. This design can reduce the loss of light due to the absorption of traditional multi-reflective surface and projection-type headlight mask. After putting a surface-emitting LED on the parabolic focal plane, light will be emitted in parallel direction through this total internal inflection lamp. Focusing light on the desired zone, splitting parabolic surface into several reflective zones, and projecting light to the desired zones from each reflective surface by superimpose manner, we can make the desired beam pattern and create a cutoff line which is in conformity with the regulation. Finally, we can inspect the beam pattern through the optical simulation software SPEOS to simulation and verification. The result of simulation and verification successfully complies with ECE regulations.
