Johan Ku said the inspiration of his works for each seasons are from the films of the world. We all know that our concept of fashion is from the Europe. And follow the study of Ted Polhemus, the designer from Taiwan or another non-Western countries have two kinds of the tactics of design to enter this world that accords Western fashion as mainstreaming: firstly, blending the local elements which are non-Western culture in the design; in the other hand, following the Western trend. And under the cultural context of globalization and the situation of postmodern symbolic consumption, fashion continues to express the modern vision of modern and innovative ideas and host the popular symbol to spread popular message intensively on the use value of costumes, driving the development of fashion and cultural.
