碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 農業企業經營管理碩士在職專班 === 104 === 　　Nantou County is a major agricultural area in Taiwan; however, the aging of farmers had already impeded the development of agriculture. How to bring young people back to countryside and retain them for farming became an important subject for this area. 　　This study used focus group method to interviewed 28 professional young farmers and explored key factors that result in their returning for farming and retaining in this industry. This study also probed into the problems that young farmers had encountered by the agricultural policies. 　　The results show that the key factors of the youth’s returning for farming in Nantou County were family demand, personal interest, inheritance of agricultural spirit, and self-realization.
