Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 動物科學系所 === 104 === Brown rot fungi are predominantly members of the Basidiomycota. The term ‘brown rot’ refers to the characteristic color of the decayed wood, because most of the cellulose and hemicelluloses are degraded. Besides the secretion of cellulose enzyme groups, it contains rich phenolic compounds and other secondary metabolites. These ingredients can improve antioxidant effects by protect cells from the damage of free radicals. Anthodia cinnamomea is a unique brown-rot fungus species which only parasitizes in the decayed heart wood of stout camphor (Cinnamomum kanehirae) in Taiwan. The purpose of this study is solid-fermented soybean hulls by A. cinnamomea and explores the effects of soybean hulls fermented by A. cinnamomea in white roman goose diet. In the in vivo experiment, the optimum at condition of soybean hulls fermentation and the active ingredient effect of fermented product was evaluated. The results showed the optimumal condition of soybean hulls fermentation was at 28 ℃, inoculum concentration 60 %,and with the moisture content of soybean hulls was 40 % for 21 days. The antioxidative capacity in fermented soybean hulls was increased by the fermentation. In animal trail-1, one hundred sixty 1-day-old geese were randomly allocated into 5 dietary treatments including the basal diet, 3 % or 6 % of soybean hulls replace with corn, and 3 % or 6 % of fermented soybean hulls replace with corn. Each treatment with 4 replicates for 4 weeks feeding. The result showed that fermented soybean hulls treatment groups significant effect on the growth performance, carcass parameters and intestinal mucosa. The malondialdehyde (MDA) production of the serum in both fermented soybean hulls treatment groups were significantly decreased than the other treatments. In the second experiment, one hundred twenty 30-days-old geese were randomly allocated into 5 dietary treatments including the basal diet, 5% or 10% of soybean hulls replace with corn, and 5% or 10% of fermented soybean hulls replace with corn. Each treatment with 4 replicates for 8 weeks. The result on the growth performance showed that fermentation groups had significant effect increase the weight gain than the soybean hull group. Fermented soybean hulls treatment group effects on carcass parameters and intestinal mucosa. The catalase and trolox equivalent antioxidative capacity (TEAC) production of the serum in the fermented soybean hulls treatment groups were significantly increased than the other treatments. In conclusion, fermented soybean hulls by A. cinnamomea could enhance the antioxidative capacity of fermented product and improve the antioxidative ability of serum in goose.
