Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立政治大學 === 廣播電視學系 === 104 === The raising awareness of class issues in Taiwanese society is shown in recent Taiwan cinema. Therefore, this study seeks to examine the representations of contemporary class issues and review the narrative and characterization of these films through textual analysis, selecting three representative films as case studies including The Losers, Elena, and Meeting Dr. Sun. This study closely examines the image and narrative of the filmic texts, and the results indicate that the class issues and class concerns in these three films correspond with contemporary social status. Moreover, by depicting the lives of ordinary people, the films raise the possibility of social interaction.
