During January 2015, the National Energy Meeting has defined “Energy Saving” to be the short term objective, therefore from central to local government must work together to define “Intelligent Saving Power” as mission. By managing energy efficiency to solve Taiwan’s energy awkward, central government set up 2% power saving of civilian and government power consumption as goal in 2015 and request local government should conduct further action plan. Hsinchu County as known as growing fast recent years in urban and business development and since industry and population continuing increase, it’s urgent to executive complete power saving action. By analysing data from Taiwan Power Company, that household takes 60% of none-industry power consumption, government department takes another 10% and service industry takes the rest 30%. Hsinchu County government decides to take the lead to organize seriel power saving plans and activities to encourage subsidiary organizations, colleagues, local villiages and households units till service industry implementing power saving actions as replacing LED lighting equipments etc to persuit power saving. Also Hsinchu County will hold the power saving competiton to enhance people’s willing in power saving. By executing entire energy saving plan and action through out the government, public organization and household until service industry in Hsinchu Country, we may expect to reach 2% power saving target and save 37,150,000 kWh between 2014 and 2015.
