Summary: | 碩士 === 明新科技大學 === 管理研究所碩士班 === 104 === To respond to the global trend of carbon emissions reduction and support the thriving e-commerce industry, the Ministry of Finance formulated the Plan to Develop a Knowledge-Based Economy on Aug. 30, 2008 in the hope of promoting electronic receipts in everyday transactions. In recent years, the Ministry of Finance has tried all means to implement the policy that is aimed at replacing paper receipts with electronic ones, but has so far received a lukewarm response from the public. The use of carriers among people is not as widespread as it had been expected, and this is presumed to be associative with their long-time habit and the service procedures of e-receipts also affects people’s intention to accept e-receipts upon daily payments. This study explores the application, use, ownership, donation, and other integrative services of e-receipts and proffers suggestions for the authority concerned.
This study employs service-design cocreational perspective and conducts interviews for collection of materials. Twelve participants consist of consumers, B2C vendors, social welfare institutions, and the authority concerned (National Texation Bureau). Upon collecting the opinions of these stakeholders for the e-receipt policy, the present study discovers that the cumbersome application procedures and inconvenience are major detrimental factors. Thus we recommend that the government should make effort to simplify the procedure, improve convenience, and add propaganda so consumers will not hesitate to adopt this e-receipt system. Lastly this study presents each process specific proposals for e-receipts as a useful reference for competent authorities.
