Description
Summary:碩士 === 美和科技大學 === 生技科技系健康產業碩士班 === 104 === Pre-germinated brown rice (PGBR) was proved had benefits to ameliorate metabolism syndromes. The aim of the study was to clarify the mechanisms of PGBR in preventing the hypertension in C57BL/6J mice fed high fat diet. This study was separated two parts. The first part was preventive and the second part was therapeutic study. In the first part we used normal six-week-old C57BL/6J mice which were randomly divided into three groups. Group 1 was fed standard diet, group 2 was fed high fat diet (HFD) group 3 was fed HFD and PGBR for 16 weeks. In the second part C57BL/6J mice were fed with standard diet and HFD for 16weeks. Group 1 and group 2 were still fed standard diet, and HFD. In group 3, the mice were changed to eat HFD and PGBR for 4 weeks. These two parts had the same results. The HFD groups had higher blood pressure, heart rate, body weight, AI, blood cholesterol, TG and lower serum insulin levels. The AT1R, AT2R, ET-1 and ETAR genes expression of endothelial cells in vessel of mice fed HFDPGBR diet were lower than HFD groups, but ETBR and eNOS higher than HFD groups. We suggested that PGBR had the effects of preventing HFD-induced hypertension through lowed body weight, blood glucose, blood lipid and regulated hypertension duo to affect endothelial factors.
