Summary: | 碩士 === 美和科技大學 === 企業管理系經營管理碩士班 === 104 === FDI refers to flows of capital from one nation or more to another in exchange for significant ownership stakes in domestic companies or other domestic assets. The study aims to identify factors influencing on FDI attraction to Hanoi. The literature review in Chapter II shows that there are three factors that are selected, including local resources, infrastructure, and supporting policies. In this context, the study comes up with three hypotheses. To test these hypotheses, quantitative research method is deployed with data collected from primary and secondary resources. Secondary data is used in this study such as books and journals and reports about FDI inflow to Vietnam. Primary data is collected from survey of questionnaire with 400 respondents. Data analysis results indicate that local resources, infrastructure, and supporting policies can explain for 48.2% of changes in FDI attraction to Hanoi. It is showing through Adjusted R-Square of 0.482 and the relationship between FDI and resources factor, infrastructure factor, and policy factor are statistical significant at 5%. Among three factor, infrastructure has highest influence on FDI attraction.
