During the deployment of IPv6 addresses, since new services are constantly introduced that are uneasy to be maintained or consulted, how to address these issues by using remote management mechanisms to maintain the Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) is thus the focus of this study. More specifically, this study applies the CPE WAN management protocol (CWMP) proposed by the Broadband Forum on the remote tests between the cable modem and Auto-Configuration Server (ACS).
