Description
Summary:碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 資訊管理學系碩士在職專班 === 104 === For the rapid development of network services, it is common in Taiwan to get network services via cable modems by Internet Service Providers (ISPs). However, due to such a large number of network services, the well-recognized problem from the lack of IPv4 addresses is becoming more serious and hence its resolution by IPv6 addresses is now being deployed. During the deployment of IPv6 addresses, since new services are constantly introduced that are uneasy to be maintained or consulted, how to address these issues by using remote management mechanisms to maintain the Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) is thus the focus of this study. More specifically, this study applies the CPE WAN management protocol (CWMP) proposed by the Broadband Forum on the remote tests between the cable modem and Auto-Configuration Server (ACS). Further analysis about these tests for verifying their validity is also discussed.
