To realize the current situation of the help-seeking behavior on junior high school seventh grade students. 2. To realize the current situation of the mathematics anxiety on junior High School seventh grade students. 3. To explore the correlation between the help-seeking behavior and mathematics anxiety on junior high school seventh grade students. The subjects included 356 junior high school seventh grade students in Taoyuan City.This study is survey of quantification research.The instruments used in this study were “Help-Seeking Behavior Scale” and “Mathematics Anxiety Scale.”Based on the theory,the scale of help-seeking behavior has three subscales.They are instrumental help seeking,executive help seeking,and avoidance of help seeking.On the other hand,the scale of mathematics anxiety has four subscales.They are worry,dislike,test anxiety,and perception of stress.The statistical methods used to analyze the datas were independent-samples t-test and correlation analysis.The results of this study were summerized as follows: 1. The current situation of the help-seeking behavior:The order of the tendency to help-seeking behavior among the seventh grade students is as follows:instrumental help seeking,executive help seeking,and avoidance of help seeking.There are no significant differences between gender and help-seeking behavior.There are no significant differences between class and help-seeking behavior. 2. The current situation of the mathematics anxiety:The seventh grade students have intermediate of mathematics anxiety.The order of the tendency to mathematics anxiety among the seventh grade students is as follows:dislike,test anxiety,worry,and perception of stress.There are significant differences between gender and test anxiety.There are no significant differences between class and mathematics anxiety. 3.The correlation between the help-seeking behavior and mathematics anxiety: There are significant correlation between instrumental help seeking,executive help seeking,and avoidance of help seeking.There are significant positive correlation between worry, dislike,test anxiety,and perception of stress.There are significant correlation between some of help-seeking behavior and mathematics anxiety.
