As a result, employees become an unshakable advantage of the organization. In this thesis, we investigate the mediating role of LMX between different leadership types (Transformational/Transactional Leadership) and voice behavior. Besides, this thesis also explores whether there is moderate effect with emotional intelligence of subordinates. This thesis focuses on tertiary Industry in Taiwan, to collect two levels of data from different sources, two separate survey questionnaires were distributed to group members and their leader. There were 231 observations sampled from different groups, the final response rate of our questionnaire is 55%. Through multiple regression analysis and PROCESS program, we verify all hypotheses and following are the important findings from this thesis: (i) Two leadership types have significant positive influence on voice behavior respectively. (ii) The leader cognized LMX plays a full mediating role between two leadership types and voice behavior, but employee cognized LMX did’t do so.
