Summary:碩士 === 康寧大學 === 應用外語研究所 === 104 === This study aimed to investigate the relationship between English reading anxiety and learning strategies for college students. There were 320 college students investigated in Tainan, Kaohsiung and Pingtung. The data collected was analyzed by computing descriptive statistics, independent-samples t test and Pearson product-moment correlation. The major research findings were illustrated as follows. Female students have more English reading anxiety than male. Non-English major students have more English reading anxiety. The using of English learning strategies of English major students in normal universities are more than non-major students in technology universities. English learning strategies were not correlated with English reading anxiety. Finally, based on the findings, some pedagogical suggestions were offered for the future researches.
