I work as a teacher for many years, and I want to realize the reasons that make the swimming class the most popular class in this school. Thus, I make a plan to study the fifth and sixth grade students’ opinions and satisfaction, so I can offer our teachers and further researchers some suggestions based on my results. This study takes questionnaire method to survey the fifth and sixth grade elementary students’, and we expect to collect 79 participants from six classes. The statistical methods of this study are descriptive analysis, independent t test, one way ANOVA, and correlation analysis. Besides, this study also takes interviews with students to discuss the motivation of participating in swimming class. Refer to the statistical analysis and the interview with students and their parents, this study come to the five conclusions: 1. Students participate swimming class because of learning how to keep safe. 2. Students enhance their attitude towards swimming class due to swimming can improve their psychological and physical health. 3. Students feel most satisfied in the teaching content. 4. The sixth grade’s participating willingness is higher than the fifth. 5. The participating willing of swimming class influences students’ attitude, and further influence their satisfaction. To sum up, refer to the findings of this study, we suggest that teacher may maintain the abundant interest of swimming class, and pay more attention to improve the environment of swimming pool.
