The low fertility rate results in numerous influences and impacts on industry, economics, education, society, and so forth in Taiwan. This article adopts quarterly data in Taiwan which is compiled from 2002 to 2015 to argue the effects caused by economics on fertility, including regularly salary, rate of labor participation of women, rate of economic growth, ratio of house price to income, unemployment rate, consumer price index via the methodology of regression analysis. The result states that the regularly salary has significant positive effect to the total fertility rate. The rate of labor participation of women indicates a negative effect to the total fertility rate.The ratio of house price to income to the total fertility rate shows a negative effect.
