(1994) to estimate production efficiency and productivity for Credit Department of Farmers’ Associations in Taichung City. Malmquist Productivity Index (tfpch) includes technical efficiency change (effech), technical change (techch), pure technical efficiency change (pech) and scale efficiency change (sech).
From 2013 to 2015, the inefficient management of Credit Department of Farmers’ Associations in Taichung City majorly effects production inefficiency. The average values of productivity index, effect, techch, pech, sech and tfpch, are 1.0028, 1.0009, 1.0007, 1.0021 and 1.0037 respectively. It indicates that the tfpch productivity index of Credit Department of Farmers’ Associations in Taichung City has increased about 0.37%.
