To solve the difficulty, it needs to apply the “performance based” fire safety design method to ensure the goal of occupant safety. Thus, the fire dynamics simulator (FDS) developed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) was used in this study to rebuild the events of the Exhibition Kiosk and to analyze changes in fire flow, smoke flow, temperature distribution, heat release rate and other fire factors in the Exhibition Kiosk fire. Discussion of difference condition with the materials of partition boards, the space of compartment, the numbers of compartment and install the main aisle or not. Simulation result shows that the incombustible material of partition boards and furniture can inhibit the fire efficiently. But having main aisle around, which causes the different fire spreading directions and which causes an "effect of multiplication", may lead to the faster expansion of fire. The smoke and temperature are in direct proportion, so the smoke ventilation equipment in Exhibition Kiosk is an important concern of fire safety.
