For the optimizations in the rotating die drawing of wire rod, the DEFORM-3D commercial software is used to do the FEM simulation; the frictions between dies and wire rod are assumed to be constant shear friction to obtain the effective stress, the effective strain, the velocity field, and the drawing force.
