Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 模具工程系 === 104 === This work was to study the contact interface between some used grinding wheels and another new one based on the regional scanning of ultrasound. Through this research, we can obtain the condition of contact image of all these grinding wheels. Through the manipulation with PC system, we can control the X and Y axis movement of the screw, and further control the ultrasound probe to scan with a speed of 0.4mm in a matrix mode.We collect the data through Labview program, and convert these data into 3D image with Matlab. Then we analyze the contrast these image with PIA software. Finally we calculated the contact area of different contrast ratio from 10% to 100% according to their different loads and exposure areas. Analyzing from PIA, the new grinding wheel contact area is between 30.94mm2 to 321.09mm2, while the used grinding wheel A contact area is between 26.8mm2 to 199.44mm2, grinding wheel B contact area is between 22.84mm2 to 175.28mm2, and the used grinding wheel C contact area is between 18.55mm2 to 122.46mm2. From the result of the experiment, it is known that the greater the load is the greater the contact area will be. On the other side, we also realized, the used grinding wheel’s contact area ratio is smaller than the new grinding wheel. Through measuring the size of the contact area and a large amount of data evaluation, it can be known that the aforementioned experimental data also can calculate the degree of the abrasion of the grinding wheel.
