With the DAQ card PCI-6024E from the National Instruments accompanied with the external circuitry, LabVIEW is able to read and save the values of the motor voltage, current and revolutions. Then, the study use MATLAB to analyze the data. By running the no-load test and the blocked-rotor test, the study can get the motor’s parameters. With the LabVIEW, the study can control the motor’s operating time and set the minimum running time for 0.1 second. Therefore, the study can run the full-voltage blocked-rotor test and get the values of voltage and current at a high speed to calculate the instantaneous power without damaging the motor.
