Design/methodology/approach-Questionnaires were distributed to gather the data need by this study. 222 valid questionnaires were received from respondents; data was analyzed using SPSS and Visual PLS (Partial Lease Square) software to validate. Findings-According to the results obtained from research, resource suppliers maintain a positive relationship with “enjoyment”, “sustainability”, and “norms” without treating “extrinsic rewards”, “trust”, and “identification” as top priority. The results also indicated a negative relationship between costs and sharing intention. Practical implications-The relationships between all factors and sharing intention were analyzed. Platform administrators can refer to our findings to design more attractive functions. Originality/value-This study is based on social capital theory and social exchange theory to investigate what factors would influence resource suppliers sharing intention. These findings have important theoretical and practical implications, which are discussed in the paper.
