These house cleaners tend to suffer from hazard factors of Cumulative Trauma Disorders (CTD) and it caused by continuous poor postures. In addition, Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) was used to evaluate risks of Cumulative Trauma Disorders. Furthermore, Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire (NMQ) is the questionnairs of this study. The main research object is staffs of a house cleaning company of Hanoi, Vietnam. And there are 20 valid questionnaires in this study. The purpose of this quetionnaire was investigated to understand musculoskeletal issues of Vietnamese cleaners. The results of this study revealed as below, 1.According to the results of postures analysis of Vietnamese house cleaners, elbows and wrists must be used in all cleaning items of this study.. 2.The result of Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire revealed that, most of house cleaners feel their neck and low back are painful. The total is 70% from the qustionanaire. Because house cleaners always need to bend over when they work. In addition, the most common symptom of Cumulative Trauma Disorders is "pain". The ratio is 77.5% from Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire. 3.The medical care and health insurance is not so developed in Vietnam, so the most of Vietnamese house cleaners bought ointment or pain relief patch by theirselves in the pharmacy. The ratio of treatment choice of Vietnamese house cleaners is 40%. 4.Although these house cleaning jobs are common and easy, the AL5 level of MSD risk is 70%. It means house cleaners need to change implement and improve their posture, so they must to face musculoskeletal issues.
